Deactivate the privacy indicator

Starting with Android 12, a green indicator in the upper right corner will appear every time, when the camera, microphone or location is accessed. To avoid this annoying indicator till the next device restart, AndroidSpy needs to be installed with one of the following apps:

• Android Spy Installer for Windows

Note, that the indicator will reappear after restarting the device. To avoid this indicator permanently, the device must be rooted and Android Spy must be given root access.

If rooting is not possible, the following settings must be changed in the Android Spy configuration, to avoid the indicator:

• Deactivate camera recording
• Change location recording to "Passive"
• Deactivate audio recording for phone calls or switch to method 2
